Start your day off right. Besides the beach, Miami is known for its Cuban coffee, and you're going to want to indulge once you smell the aromas. This staple cafe and restaurant is located in the neighborhood of Little Havana on the well known "Calle Ocho", or 8th street. It's a locals hotspot. This is where you go for the authentic experience. If you're lucky you might catch a celebrity while you're there. MMMTip: brush up on your Espanol prior so you can order your café con leche like a pro!

For some early evening entertainment, check out Loft VR. With four stations set up, multiple games to choose from, the ability to videotape your experience and comfy couches for your friends to watch, the virtual reality at Loft VR is perfect for a different type of experience. The expert staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The space can also be reserved for parties, corporate gatherings, and other events!

Perhaps you prefer to read to others? Become a volunteer for the United Way Reading Pals program. You'll join over 200 other Miamians who are making a huge difference for the community. It's a fun and unforgettable experience that will keep you young!

For dinner, head over to the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center, not far from where they host SoulShine at Museum Park. On Mondays from 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm you can pick up your weekly supply of fresh fruits, veggies, bread, etc. from the fresh market that explodes in the courtyard. They've got activities for the kids, free parking. If you're in the mood for a farm to table, plant-based meal, seek Chef Allen. He will be happy to whip something up for you.
