Experience Casual Eating at American Harvest

Restaurants in Miami

UPDATE: Since this article has been published we have learned that this venue has closed.

What a night!!

I have been wanting to come to this American Harvest since their opening, and this past Friday we went and had an amazing dining experience. Parking is free and on-site, this already is a big plus. After we parked, we walked into the new restaurant in Miami, and was immediately captivated by the casual interior, as we waited in line to order. My favorite part was a brick wall with the American Harvest logo on it. The menus are clearly presented on the adjacent wall, as well as, at the main entrance. FYI: It turns out they also have a location on Brickell.

On the Menu:

American Harvest Burger

This was cooked to its best, made with Angus beef, chuck short rib, brisket blend, fontina cheese, their amazing and so tasty house mayo, caramelized onions, served on a moist potato bun. Let me tell you about those caramelized onions, they were melting in my mouth and the sweet flavor was the perfect combination for this juicy burger.

Steak Sandwich

Can you believe that they served this in a naan bread? I was so happy to see it and even more happy the I to tasted the flavors of the Angus steak, mixed with their mayo, caramelized onion, red peppers, fontina cheese, and mixed greens. I don't want to say that it was my favorite but, the flavors and tender steak of this sandwich were beyond good.

Quinoa Veggie Salad

Their quinoa salad came with, fresh mixed greens, tomato, queso fresco, basil, and red peppers. I enjoyed this delightfully fresh salad and the taste felt the Mediterranean, maybe because of their oregano-goat cheese vinaigrette. Plus the quinoa absorbed this flavors and you can just imagine how good it was.

Cuban Hipster Bowl

This pretty white bowl of seasoned organic black beans, and oven baked plantains, was exquisite, the mix of the ingredients and cheese on top made it wonderful for a side or even a main dish.

Pesto Harvest Skillet

I had so much fun trying this plate that my friend ordered; colorful green & yellow squash, cauliflower, red onion, portobello mushrooms, red peppers, carrots, shredded parmesan, toasted almonds, baby heirloom tomatoes and some almonds. After I took pictures and videos of they pretty plate I ate some of it and it was sensational, the basil pesto dressing was the finishing touch to make it even better.

As you can see I had a beyond amazing experience and I'm very happy I went. Their service and food were outstanding, and they definitely surpassed my expectations. Thank you American Harvest.
