Best Bakeries in Miami to Drool Over

In Miami, when somebody mentions a BAKERY, sometimes we only think about the little Hispanic shop down the street.  While we do love our pastelitos and Cuban coffee, we love our cookies, brownies and other baked goods too! We’re Shay & Steph from @soflofooodie on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Today we are sharing some of our favorite, and best bakeries in Miami. Now, let’s get baking…

Did you really think we weren’t going to start with a Cuban bakery? Gran Paris Bakery adds a French twist on traditional Cuban recipes. While of course you can get your typical croquetas, pastelitos and empanadas, you can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner items. From the secret menu, you must get the “SOFLO” pastelito shake (YES, IT’S NAMED AFTER US!). This is a vanilla based milkshake topped with a whole coconut pastelito then drizzled with coconut sauce and pastelito flakes… You’re welcome!

One of our favorite places to go when we’re craving some sweet baked goods, is Cream Parlor. Each day, they offer different baked goods such as cookies, brownies, cannoli’s, macaroons, etc. The best part is you can add their delicious homemade ice cream to almost any of the baked goods you want (think brownie and/or cookie ice cream sandwiches).  Cream Parlor takes pride in every order they make so you’ll for sure get your Insta-worthy picture with them! Oh, and say hi to Johnny and Ainsley (the owners). They are the sweetest people you will ever meet.

Andrix Café

In South Beach, you’ll find an Italian bakery offering delicious baked goods. Choose between croissants, a nutella filled Italian donut, or even a tiramisu. Our favorite was the Nutella filled Italian donut (of course) which has a fluffy base and sugar on the outside. Don’t forget to pair it with one of their delicious coffees!
